Chicken Fried Rice Recipe

A quick and easy chicken fried rice recipe, perfect for a weeknight meal. This recipe uses leftover chicken and rice for convenience.

  • 1.5 cups cooked chicken
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Preparation Steps

  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add chicken, rice, peas, and carrots. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  • Pour in soy sauce and stir to combine.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

Leftover rice works best for this recipe. Feel free to add other vegetables like onions or bell peppers.
