  • 1.5 pounds Chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Long-grain rice, uncooked
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a baking dish, combine rice, chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, onion, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Place chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
