Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Spread the dough into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Store leftover cookie bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
