Chewy Blondies Recipe

These chewy blondies are incredibly easy to make and deliver a rich, buttery flavor with a perfect fudgy texture. They're studded with chocolate chips for an extra decadent treat!

  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk chocolate

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
  • Let the blondies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For even chewier blondies, slightly underbake them. Allow them to cool completely before cutting for clean slices.
