- 1 box devil's food cake mix follow package instructions for baking
- 1.5 cups Cherry Coke use to mix into cake
- 1 cups maraschino cherry juice reserve cherries for topping
- 8 oz whipped topping thawed

Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cake mix box.
- Prepare the devil's food cake mix according to package instructions, substituting water with Cherry Coke.
- Pour the cake batter into a greased 13x9 inch baking pan and bake as directed.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Poke holes in the top of the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon.
- Pour the maraschino cherry juice over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
- Spread the thawed whipped topping over the cake.
Notes
For an extra cherry kick, garnish with additional maraschino cherries on top.
