Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
Stir in chopped onion, mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Remove from heat, drain excess fat, and let cool slightly.
Mix in shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
Place about 2 tablespoons of filling onto each spring roll wrapper and wrap tightly.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry spring rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
For a variation, try adding pickles or bacon to the filling before wrapping.
