Cheese and Olive Quick Bread

This savory quick bread is packed with cheese and olives, perfect for a snack or side dish.

  • 2.75 cups All-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Sliced olives
  • 1.25 cups Milk
  • 0.25 cup Melted butter

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in cheese and olives.
  • In a separate bowl, combine milk and melted butter.
  • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
