Caramel Cracker Bars

These Caramel Cracker Bars are a delightful combination of buttery crackers, creamy caramel, and rich chocolate. A perfect treat for any occasion!

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs finely crushed
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 14 ounces caramel candies, unwrapped
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into the prepared pan.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt caramel candies with heavy cream until smooth. Pour over the cracker crust.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  • Melt chocolate chips and spread evenly over the cooled caramel layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
