Preparation Steps
Slice jalapenos thinly.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Add jalapenos and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until candied and slightly softened.
Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Notes
Store candied jalapenos in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
