Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream together sugars and melted butter. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in mashed bananas and vanilla.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in pecans.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store leftover banana bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
