Boozy Grapes Recipe

A fun and boozy twist on a classic snack, perfect for parties or a unique dessert!

  • 1 pound Green grapes
  • 0.5 cup Vodka Or any clear spirit of your choice
  • 0.25 cup Sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Lime zest

  • Wash and thoroughly dry the green grapes. Ensure they are completely dry to allow the alcohol to adhere properly.
  • In a large resealable plastic bag or a non-reactive bowl, combine the vodka, sugar, and lime zest. Stir or shake until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
  • Add the dried grapes to the mixture. Seal the bag or cover the bowl, and gently toss to coat the grapes evenly.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, shaking the bag or stirring the bowl every few hours to ensure even soaking.
  • Once ready to serve, drain any excess liquid. The grapes should have absorbed some of the liquid and will have a slightly shriveled appearance.
  • Serve chilled as a unique appetizer, dessert, or snack.

Notes

These boozy grapes are best enjoyed in moderation due to the alcohol content. They are a fun addition to adult parties or gatherings. Ensure the grapes are thoroughly dried before soaking to achieve the best results. For a less potent version, you can reduce the amount of vodka or soak for a shorter period.
