Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch, and blueberries. Toss until blueberries are evenly coated.
Add lemon juice and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir gently.
Pour the blueberry mixture into the prepared pie crust and dot with butter.
Cover with the top crust, crimp edges to seal, and cut slits to allow steam to escape.
Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
Allow the pie to cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
