Blueberry Biscuits

These fluffy blueberry biscuits are easy to make and perfect for breakfast or a snack. They're bursting with fresh blueberries and have a slightly sweet, buttery flavor.

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 cup cold unsalted butter cut into cubes
  • 3 tablespoons cold milk
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Cut in cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in cold milk until just combined. Gently fold in blueberries.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These biscuits are best served warm. You can also add a glaze or sprinkle of sugar for extra sweetness.
