Banana Cream Cheesecake

A creamy and decadent banana cream cheesecake, perfect for any occasion. This recipe combines the richness of cheesecake with the sweetness of bananas for a truly delightful dessert.

Ingredients
  

Crust Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup melted butter

Filling Ingredients

  • 3 packages cream cheese softened
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in vanilla extract. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in mashed bananas.
  • Pour filling over crust. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the center is set. Let cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.

Notes

For best results, use very ripe bananas for a sweeter and more intense banana flavor. Garnish with whipped cream and banana slices before serving.
