Baked Stuffed Apples

A delicious and healthy recipe for baked stuffed apples. Sweet and spiced apples are baked until tender.

  • 4 medium apples Apples (Honeycrisp or similar)
  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons Butter melted

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Core apples, leaving about 1/2 inch at the bottom.
  • In a bowl, combine brown sugar, walnuts, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Stuff the apples with the brown sugar mixture.
  • Place apples in a baking dish and pour melted butter over them.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until apples are tender.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
