  • 4 pears ripe but firm pears Choose a variety that holds its shape well when baked.
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon walnut halves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Wash and core the pears, leaving about 1/2 inch at the bottom intact.
  • Place pears in a baking dish.
  • Drizzle honey over pears and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until pears are tender.
  • Top with walnuts before serving.

Notes
