  • 0.57 kg Fresh Green Beans trimmed
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.13 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 0.25 cup Breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs recommended

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • In a large bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Spread the seasoned green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the green beans are tender-crisp.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs evenly over the green beans.
  • Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra kick, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the seasoning mixture.
