  • In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  • Gradually add sugar, beating until glossy.
  • Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Mound meringue over ice cream, sealing edges to the cake.
  • Bake until meringue is golden brown.
