  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and diced

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
