Almond Toffee Bars

These chewy almond toffee bars are the perfect combination of sweet and nutty. Easy to make and even easier to devour!

  • 1 cup butter unsalted
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups almonds, slivered
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar until combined.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and almonds.
  • Gradually add flour, mixing until well combined. Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature.
