Chewy Snickers Brownies

Chewy Snickers Brownies combine the best of both worlds: rich, fudgy brownies topped with chunks of Snickers bars, caramel, and a hint of peanut butter. Each bite is a delightful blend of chocolate, caramel, and crunch, making it the ultimate indulgence for any candy lover. Whether you’re preparing a dessert for a party or craving something sweet, these brownies will certainly satisfy your sweet tooth!

Ingredients

For the Brownie Base:

  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

For the Snickers Topping:

  • 4-5 Snickers bars, chopped (about 1 ½ cups)
  • ½ cup (120g) caramel sauce
  • ½ cup (120g) creamy peanut butter

For the Drizzle:

  • ¼ cup (60g) caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Directions

  1. Prepare the Oven and Pan:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8-inch square baking pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Make the Brownie Base:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until combined. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully incorporated.
  3. Bake the Brownies:
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few crumbs. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. Add the Snickers Topping:
Once the brownies are fully cooled, drizzle the caramel sauce and peanut butter over the top. Sprinkle the chopped Snickers bars evenly over the caramel and peanut butter. Gently press them into the brownies to ensure they stick.
  5. Drizzle and Serve:
Drizzle the additional caramel sauce over the top for an extra layer of sweetness. Let the brownies set for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
  6. Enjoy:
Serve these chewy Snickers brownies on their own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a truly indulgent dessert experience.

Notes

  • Substitutions: If you prefer, you can use other candy bars like Milky Way or Twix in place of Snickers for a different flavor.
  • Storage: Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4-5 days. They can also be refrigerated for up to a week.
  • Make-Ahead Tip: These brownies can be made a day in advance, making them perfect for parties or gatherings.

These Chewy Snickers Brownies are a mouthwatering combination of chewy, chocolatey goodness and the irresistible flavors of Snickers bars – sure to be a hit at any occasion!
